The other day I overheard someone say "That girl is too fat to be wearing short pants"
It got me thinking....Who decided that only the skinny girl or the athletic girl could wear short pants?
We seem to know who is pretty and who isnt? But what are our opinions based on?
And when we figure out what our basis is.... is it a worthwhile basis?
Just food for thought.

"The Bikini Body"
"I can't wear a bikini. I don't have a bikini body"
I can't count the number of times that I have heard this statement and it comes from every female body type imaginable.
I'm not going to give an opinion on if a person should wear a bikini or not.
I do want to highlight a few things and suggest what the decision should NOT be based on.
The body of a celebrity is not typical; it is not always healthy; and is often not even real.
How could an average woman feel that she cant wear a bikini because she does not look like a celebrity; A celebrity who 1. has a strict diet. 2. has the best personal trainer money can buy and 3. has photoshop.
Well I have news, SHE doesnt even look like this! She is NOT REAL.
Below shows Britney.
To the left is possibly Britney with the help of all her dietians, trainers, dermatologists etc.
To the right is Britney again, with the help of a photo editing tool.
Furthermore, Britney who knows that Britney is not real, wears a bikini! Go Britney go!
Ok so before all the fans come with their pitchforks and torches, please know that this is not an attempt to embarrass anyone, Britney Spears or Rihanna. It's just an attempt to highlight that they are real women just like us. They have the same "problems" just as us. So don't idolise them and wait 'til we become what we think they are before we start to love our bodies.
